Barcelona witnessed something never before seen: for the first time in the world, a huge glass-plated lorry, with a simulated padel court inside, toured the city.
The first Roca Solo Baño shop will be in Barcelona. Located on the city’s Via Augusta (at the corner with Carrer Amigó) in a building by architect José Antonio Coderch, it will act as a pilot establishment in 2009.
Roca has received the FAD Medal, awarded annually by the Fomento de las Artes y el Diseño association to persons and organisations that have made valuable contributions to the country’s social and cultural life.
The Design Plus competition is held every two years as part of the ISH international fair, promoted by the Department of Design and the German Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
